The Oxford Playhouse is presenting for one night only an opportunity for you to see Steve Coogan being interviewed by Helena Kennedy.
Steve Coogan came to fame (or perhaps notoriety) as the character of Alan Partridge, the regional TV Presenter whose career path was clearly on a downward trajectory. More recently he reached a wider audience performing alongside Dame Judi Dench in the film Philomena, and was nominated for a Golden Globe and BAFTA award.
Helena Kennedy is possibly one of our most famous contemporary barristers. Born in Glasgow, she is famous for defending civil liberties and human rights, becoming a QC in 1991 and a member of the House of Lords six years later.
It should be a fascinating evening and tickets are modestly priced at £20. The proceeds of the evening will be used to support the ongoing work of the Oxford Playhouse which many people do not realise is a charity and dependent upon sponsorship and fund raising as well as ticket sales.
I would encourage you to apply to the Oxford Playhouse for tickets for what should be a most memorable and unique experience. Ring the Box Office on 01865 305305 .
