Disputes between partners can often seem intractable. This is particularly so where, as is still often the case, there is no written agreement between the partners as to their respective rights and liabilities. The business has just grown without anybody giving much thought as to what happens in the event of further capital being required or certain partners wishing to exclude others.
In some cases, even with written agreements, it is simply not possible to resolve the issues and the consequence is that the business just collapses. That clearly makes little sense and every effort must be made to see realism and strive towards a negotiated solution.
We can help in trying to piece together what agreements may exist and then construct a pragmatic solution to very difficult relationships.
