We are seeking an Accounts Assistant for maternity cover from August 2018 (or preferably from June) for a period of up to 12 months. Working with an Accounts Manager, the role provides essential support to a busy legal firm with offices in the centre of Oxford and Bicester.
The successful candidate will have accounts administration or banking experience and will be confident working within a finance environment. It is not essential to have worked in a law firm previously but experience of private practice would be helpful.
The postholder will be able to undertake a range of tasks, including (though not limited to): bank reconciliations; transactional processing for payment requests, receipts, bills and card payments; administration of petty cash; processing transfers of funds between ledgers; checking calculations on draft completion statements.
This is a busy role which requires accuracy, diligence and attention to detail. The post is full-time and available from June onwards to enable a reasonable handover period.
