Frank has been with HMG for ten years giving tax advice to individuals and businesses. Previously he was a tax partner in a substantial Oxford firm of Chartered Accountants for 26 years. He has wide experience in tax planning including trusts and international taxation.
As well as preparing tax returns for individuals, Frank offers proactive uncontroversial tax planning advice. He acts mainly for individuals planning to reduce the impact of inheritance tax, capital gains tax and income tax. He likes to advise the whole family in which he includes family companies. He particularly likes solving tax problems for academics, farmers, landowners and property investment companies. His international expertise includes dealing with non UK residents and those with an Overseas Domicile: for both income tax and inheritance tax. When necessary he negotiates with HM Revenue & Customs when income comes to light which should have been previously declared to the taxman.
Frank is a Chartered Accountant, a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and a member of STEP - The Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners. He is a past National President of The Association of Taxation Technicians and former Chairman of the Thames Valley Branch of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. One of the few things that he is not is a solicitor!
