Kate joined the Practice as a paralegal working in the Dispute Resolution department. She commenced a training contract in September 2016 with the aim of qualifying as a Solicitor in 2018.
After graduating from Bath Spa University with a degree in music, Kate went on to study for the Graduate Diploma in Law at the University of the West of England, graduating in 2011. After working for a large commercial firm in Bristol, Kate joined HMG in April 2015.
Kate specialises in litigation, with wide range of experience including debt recovery, possession and insolvency proceedings and more general commercial and contractual disputes. Kate regularly attends court in respect of litigated matters where she has successfully obtained summary judgment and has won a number of cases that she has dealt with from inception to final trial.
Kate is building her practice in non-contentious commercial matters including partnership deeds and deeds of retirement as well as share and asset purchase agreements along with employment matters.
Outside of work Kate is a keen cyclist and oarswoman and can often be found training on the Oxfordshire roads or on the Thames. She regularly competes at both national and local events for rowing and cycling.
